Italian member-companies associated
to ITALMOT are engaged in every sector where internal combustion
engines are used, such as the vehicle, industry, farming, construction,
power generation and marine applications sectors.
Italian companies are currently able to offer and produce engines ranging
between 3 and 35,000 KW. This remarkable product range, with the complements
required to integrate it in each application, is able to meet all possible
requirements.
The above wide variety of products is able to meet whichever requirements.
Presently the total production amounts € 846.000.000.
Within ITALMOT where is COGREL, Committee of Generating Set Builders.
It is the body which groups the major Italian companies, manufacturing
generating sets.
COGREL belongs to both the trade associations ANIMA and ANIE.
It was born in 1981 from ANIMA/ANIE joint desire to coordinate interests
of some qualified manufacturers who aim at defining high technical and
commercial standards in order to safeguard both themselves and the users.
